It was in 1997 that World Vision took the step of faith to be part of the World Vision Partnership; to set up operations as a Support Office in Malaysia. In the twinkle of the eye, 10 years have passed and in 2007, World Vision Malaysia commemorates a decade of service.

As we look back, we are grateful to the thousands of Malaysians who joined us in our mission to bring hope of a better tomorrow to children around the world. Today, over 10,000 Malaysians are World Vision Child Sponsors. With their monthly contributions of RM50.00, they are helping more than 14,000 children in China, Mongolia, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Lebanon, Myanmar, South Africa and Cambodia.

Even more Malaysians have responded to our call for emergency relief as natural disasters and wars afflict our fellow citizens around the world.

Just as we have served children for the past 10 years, our goal is to continue serving them for the next 10.
