Programme Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Manage country (ies) portfolio or programmes and projects funded by World Vision Malaysia (WVM)
  • Provide technical support in design monitoring and evaluation (DME) of community development programmes to enhance quality and sustainability of the programmes
  • Manage relationships with field office staff, encouraging transparency and mutual understanding and application of quality assessment, design, monitoring and evaluation standards
  • Assist in coordinating the field office funding commitments of WVM's funded programme and projects
  • Support other departments' needs for information from WVM funded programmes and projects for collateral and proposals
  • Support other departments in their visits to the field through providing accurate information, reports, and pre-briefing it necessary
  • Represent WVM in external events and assit in promotional events, including 30-Hour Famine, Child sponsorship roadshows, church Engagement and marketing campaigns
  • Involve in the preparation and deployment of local emergency response

Qualifications:

Resource Development (Marketing)

Senior Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual marketing plan and monitor the annual plan to ensure objectives and targets are met
  • Track department budget and make recommendations on appropriate budgetary re-allocations and changes
  • Oversee the building and extension of corporate partners network
  • Conduct due diligence on potential corporate partners to safeguard WV’s public image and integrity
  • Conceptualise and present fresh initiatives that will help build new partnership opportunities and penetrate new corporate market segments
  • Oversee and guide marketing teams to ensure respective responsibilities and work assigned are carried out according to set procedures, objectives, and deadlines, as well as being in line with WV policies and standards

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing or Business

Acquisition Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small Team in all areas of marketing activities towards achieving the targets set on fund raising towards Child Sponsorship and other initiatives and projects in relation to it
  • Produce, present, and manage quarterly and annual marketing plan which include:
    • Objectives
    • Specific targets
    • Budget planning
    • Long and short term strategies
    • Master calendar: events, activities, programmes and time frames
    • Research on market mix and behavious
    • Resources needed: manpower, promotions materials and equipment
  • Work out and monitor the quarterly and annual plan to ensure objectives and targets are met and implement contingency plans in the event targets may not be met
  • Track budgets and make recommendations on appropriate budgetary re-allocations and changes
  • Directly supervise, advise and oversee all marketing activities, campaigns, and coordination by the team which include event organisation, celebrity engagement, digital activities, special marketing project, private/corporate partners network, assist in the middle/major donor segment, and all administrative and documental control matters within the Resource Development department
  • Recommend suitable projects, and lead the Resource Development team with the goal of achieving and maintaining continued long-term results
  • Assist the Head of Resource Development to conceptualise and present fresh initiatives that will help build new partnership opportunities and penetrate new corporate market segments
  • Update and liaise with International & Malaysia Programmes department and Communications department on new marketing ideas and/or corporate partners to drive results, ensure continued accountability, transparency and contact
  • Directly guide the Resource Development team at ground level, to ensure respective areas of responsibilities and work assigned are carried out according to set procedures, objectives, and deadlines, as well as being in line with WV policies and standards
  • Directly guide and plan key marketing campaigns, together with designated project leaders/co-ordinators, and organise debriefing after each major event/activities
  • Liaise with Finance Department on budget and receipt matters
  • Identify talent/capacity gaps and make recommendations to Head of Resource Development on appropriate training and measures to be taken for the development of team members
  • Any other related tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, in Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent
  • Required skills: marketing planning (ATL & BTL), events, road shows, project management, social media
  • Sector experience from FMCG, Banking, Telco, Events Management, Property, other NGOs or related industries preferred
  • At least 5 years of working experience managing a small team in related field
  • Preferably Managers specialising in Marketing/Product & Brand Management or equivalent
Corporate Engagement Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Explore new market and business opportunities, and to execute strategy to engage new potential donor
  • Manage and build relationship with the current middle and major donor, maintaining donor's engagement and loyalty
  • Manage day-to-day work and keeps department informed of relevant project undertaken, the decision made, actions taken, issues encountered
  • Solicit feedback on key deliverables from donors and report to ensure continual improvement
  • Prepare and deliver concise, and clear executive level presentations when needed for corporate use
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of reviews to achieve quarterly goals
  • Analyse and understand the existing donor data for conversion of donors to middle and major donors
  • Provide updates on key deliverables and produce weekly or monthly reporting requirements

Qualifications:

Digital Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with key stakeholders and management to drive marketing strategy from front to end
  • Developing and managing Digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilising a range of techniques such as search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), content marketing, social marketing (SMM) and remarketing ad
  • Overseeing the social media strategy for the organisation
  • Responsible to formulating strategies on content marketing materials to attract and increase audience engagements

Qualifications:

Digital Marketing Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate World Vision Malaysia (WVM) online presence, manage websites and communication with our supporters through emails, blogs, social media and mobile apps
  • Develop and deliver digital communication branding, advocacy, projects, emergency relief appeal and initiatives to promote WVM's work, build our supporter base and contribute towards the delivery of fundraising targets
  • Develop digital communications materials (including video) and publications as needed
  • Build relationship with bloggers, youtubers, online influential personalities
  • Contribute to organisational strategy and planning

Qualifications:

Campaigns Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Play a supporting role in all WVM general campaigns, road shows, events and etc
  • Planning and set strategies together with campaigns team to enhance participants’ understanding of the various social and economic issues impacting communities in need, in line with WV philosophy, vision and mission
  • Develop, execute and evaluate current campaign and marketing strategies, development programme for youth people to involve meeting overall objectives, contributing to the campaign's target, brand image
  • Presentations to public and private school groups for purpose of WVM campaign participation recruitment
  • Follow up with DIY camps by ensuring that the camps' needs are meet, resolved and immediate follow up actions taken
  • coordinate logistical details with internal and external service for WVM campaigns and events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing/Administration/Communication/Public relation/Business or related field
  • 2-3 years working experience in related field

Public Engagement

Donor Support Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
  • Import or export data from one application to another, and ensure accurate and timely processing of sponsor/donor records
  • Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Receive calls and respond to queries pertaining to sponsorship and donations
  • Provide administrative support in office functions and other ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications:

  • STPM or SPM with some working experience
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Data entry skills, attention to detail, confidentiality and thoroughness
  • Able to work independently, and to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Positive attitude, good team player, and able to work under pressure

Sponsorship Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, coordination and monitoring on annual community updates and stories
  • Coordination with communications department / vendors on vetting/editing of media contents (videos, subtitles of videos, captions of photos, annual report stories, and etc for My WV Portal)
  • Liaise with Global Centre on the request, monitor and delivery of yearly media content for My WV Portal
  • Make outbound calls to sponsors/donors on mode of payment, answering phone calls in the office and attending to walk-in sponsors/ donors Participate in promotional events

Qualifications:

  • Minimum diploma with at least 2 years relevant working experience
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Good command of Chinese an added advantage

Responsibilities:

Programme Implementation

  • Maintaining employee records, filling, leave system, preparing letter and monitoring all contracts' periods
  • Manage and assist in organisational related events and activities (ie. staff gathering)
  • Prepare on - boarding for new hires and conduct orientation programme
  • Payroll processing & administration (including statutory submission like EPF, SOCSO, PCB, liaising with respective statutory bodies with regards to payroll and Human Resource related matters.)
  • Maintain good relationship with all staff and Management
  • To perform other related duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor 's Degree in Human Resources
