Dato' Ir. K J Abraham
Dato’ Ir. K J Abraham was appointed the CEO of World Vision Malaysia in June 2015. He is married with 3 adult children.

An engineer by profession, he was the Deputy Director-General II of the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) with the Malaysian Government from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that he was the Project Director for the world renowned SMART Tunnel in Kuala Lumpur which received the UN Habitat Scroll of Honour Award for its innovative and unique management of storm water and peak hour traffic, amongst numerous other awards.

A member of the World Vision Malaysia Board of Trustees from 2003-2014, Dato’ Ir. K J Abraham had been actively involved in the organisation’s Board Membership and Development Committee, HR Committee, as well as in World Vision International Peer Reviews.

Catherine Choong Hor Kiow
Ms Choong is a partner at law firm Catherine Choong & Co. She has worked on fund-raising strategies with a number of non-governmental organisations and within her industry she sits on the disciplinary committee and is a certified mediator for the Malaysian Bar.

Ms Choong joined the Board of World Vision Malaysia in February 2005 and was appointed Chair of the Board in February 2013.

Philip Koh Tong Ngee
Mr Koh is the senior partner at law firm Mah-Kamariyah & Philip Koh. With more than 30 years of experience in corporate law, he is also a much sought-after speaker and academician. He is also part of legal team in a number of major public law cases involving law , religion and human rights.

Mr Koh joined the WVM Board as founding chair in 1996 and in November 2013, he was appointed a member onto the World Vision International Board.

Dorothy Teoh Chiew Har
Ms Teoh is CEO of The Edge Education Foundation, the charitable arm of business paper The Edge. She has held various editorial positions in the organisation. Ms Teoh joined the Board in 2008.

Christine Ong May Ee
Ms Ong, a Chartered Accountant by profession, is a Senior Group GM of Internal Audit at IGB Corporation Berhad, a property diversified group. She joined the Board in 2009.

Jacob Lee Chor Kok
Jacob Lee is the Managing Director of Asli Mechanical Sdn Bhd and the current Vice-President of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers. An active leader in the Chinese Methodist Church circle, he is Chairman of Methodist Crisis Relief and also serves on the Board of Beautiful Gate Foundation for the Disabled.

Jacob joined the World Vision Malaysia Board in 2016.

Rev. Dr. Lim Kar Yong
Rev. Dr. Lim Kar Yong is currently the lecturer of New Testament Studies and Director of Postgraduate Studies at Seminari Theoloji Malaysia. He also lectures at other seminaries in the region, and has served as a Pastor of the Petaling Jaya Evangelical Free Church.

He joined the Board of World Vision Malaysia in 2016.

Prof. Dr. P.T. Thomas
Dr. P.T. Thomas is currently the Dean and Professor of the Taylors University Pharmacy Department. He joined the World Vision Malaysia Board in 2016.

Janet Yap
Ms Janet Yap is the Country Managing Director of Accenture Malaysia, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. She has been part of Accenture for 28 years, building a career in systems implementation and SAP consulting.

One of the few women technology leaders in Malaysia, Yap was also the inclusion and diversity lead for the Accenture office in Malaysia. Ms Yap joined the World Vision Malaysia Board in 2015.

Hank Du
Hank Du is the Regional Leader-Asian Markets for World Vision International. Graduating with a MBA in Management Sciences from Tamkang University in Taiwan, he previously served as a Senior Vice General Manager at Microsoft Taiwan and was the Executive Director of World Vision Taiwan.

Hank joined the World Vision Malaysia Board in 2014.
