Resource Development (Marketing)

Acquisition Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small Team in all areas of marketing activities towards achieving the targets set on fund raising towards Child Sponsorship and other initiatives and projects in relation to it
  • Produce, present, and manage quarterly and annual marketing plan which include:
    • Objectives
    • Specific targets
    • Budget planning
    • Long and short term strategies
    • Master calendar: events, activities, programmes and time frames
    • Research on market mix and behavious
    • Resources needed: manpower, promotions materials and equipment
  • Work out and monitor the quarterly and annual plan to ensure objectives and targets are met and implement contingency plans in the event targets may not be met
  • Track budgets and make recommendations on appropriate budgetary re-allocations and changes
  • Directly supervise, advise and oversee all marketing activities, campaigns, and coordination by the team which include event organisation, celebrity engagement, digital activities, special marketing project, private/corporate partners network, assist in the middle/major donor segment, and all administrative and documental control matters within the Resource Development department
  • Recommend suitable projects, and lead the Resource Development team with the goal of achieving and maintaining continued long-term results
  • Assist the Head of Resource Development to conceptualise and present fresh initiatives that will help build new partnership opportunities and penetrate new corporate market segments
  • Update and liaise with International & Malaysia Programmes department and Communications department on new marketing ideas and/or corporate partners to drive results, ensure continued accountability, transparency and contact
  • Directly guide the Resource Development team at ground level, to ensure respective areas of responsibilities and work assigned are carried out according to set procedures, objectives, and deadlines, as well as being in line with WV policies and standards
  • Directly guide and plan key marketing campaigns, together with designated project leaders/co-ordinators, and organise debriefing after each major event/activities
  • Liaise with Finance Department on budget and receipt matters
  • Identify talent/capacity gaps and make recommendations to Head of Resource Development on appropriate training and measures to be taken for the development of team members
  • Any other related tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, in Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent
  • Required skills: marketing planning (ATL & BTL), events, road shows, project management, social media
  • Sector experience from FMCG, Banking, Telco, Events Management, Property, other NGOs or related industries preferred
  • At least 5 years of working experience managing a small team in related field
  • Preferably Managers specialising in Marketing/Product & Brand Management or equivalent
Digital Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with key stakeholders and management to drive marketing strategy from front to end
  • Developing and managing Digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilising a range of techniques such as search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), content marketing, social marketing (SMM) and remarketing ad
  • Overseeing the social media strategy for the organisation
  • Responsible to formulating strategies on content marketing materials to attract and increase audience engagements
  • Managing the redesign of the website
  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data
  • Managing online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing/Mass Communications/Advertising/Media/E-commerce or a related field
  • At least 3 years in relevant working experience
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Good writing skills in English Language (Knowledge of Mandarin an added advantage.)
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft, simple coding & web design
  • Knowledge of email marketing, campaign rules for Google Adwords, social media, etc. & and web analytics
  • Knowledge of various Social Media platforms and other online tracking tools
Digital Marketing Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate World Vision Malaysia (WVM) online presence, manage websites and communication with our supporters through emails, blogs, social media and mobile apps
  • Develop and deliver digital communication branding, advocacy, projects, emergency relief appeal and initiatives to promote WVM's work, build our supporter base and contribute towards the delivery of fundraising targets
  • Develop digital communications materials (including video) and publications as needed
  • Build relationship with bloggers, youtubers, online influential personalities
  • Contribute to organisational strategy and planning
  • Support for WVM events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing/Mass Communications/Advertising/Media/E-commerce or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of working experience in Digital Marketing
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Good writing skills in English Language, with some basic writing skill in Chinese

Public Engagement

Communications Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the brand values and communications of the organisation are always correctly and consistently conveyed, both externally and internally
  • Oversee all marketing campaign communications messaging
  • Custodian of World Vision (WV) global and local brand image
  • Advise and strategise on potentially sensitive internal and external communications issues
  • Strategise, oversee and fine-tune initiatives aimed at promoting World Vision image and work to different stakeholders
  • Oversee and guide a team of communications professionals at the ground level, to ensure that respective areas of responsibilities and work assigned are carried out accordingly
  • Identify talent/capacity gaps and make recommendations on appropriate trainings and measures to be taken for the enhancement and development of team members

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Communications or related field
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in communications or similar field
  • Ability to meet desired standards under strict deadlines, work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation skills. Knowledge of Chinese is an added advantage
Sponsorship Executive

Responsibilities:

  • To manage and update My World Vision Portal to ensure media contents such as videos/ photos and information are up-to-date
  • To monitor sponsors’ activation and usage of the portal and to increase engagement with sponsors
  • To monitor the portal’s functionality and troubleshoot if required
  • To administer the backend of the portal whenever sponsors encounter problems with the portal
  • To assist My World Vision Portal Project Team Lead to coordinate and develop contents of Phase 2 of the portal by working with all related departments
  • To coordinate and upload all contents of Phase 2 into the portal
  • To coordinate for UAT testing and to ensure Phase 2 is launched on time

Qualifications:

  • At Least one (1) year of working experience, preferably website related
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in Information Technology (System & Digital Network)
  • Has knowledge on database management and system network, web design, photo and video editing is a plus
  • Detailed, able to coordinate and manage project timeline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • A fast learner and able to multi-task
  • Able to work Independently as well as being a team player
Programme Quality and Development

Child Protection Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective and sustainable child protection projects design, aligned with international and national standards, contextualized for Malaysian Programmes implementation. This includes the development of new/existing model frameworks and interventions, training and resources required to support field implementation.
  • Ensure strong design, monitoring and evaluation (DME) framework in child protection projects for effective monitoring and implementation.
  • Provide support and guidance to field staff on the monitoring and implementation of child protection interventions in the communities.
  • Capture best practices and lessons learnt to improve child protection models and interventions.
  • Support International Programme on technical input to National Offices.
  • Support the establishment of a local HEA response team and to be deployed as a National Disaster Management Team (NDMT) staff in the event WVM respond to a local disaster response.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Child Protection, Psychology, Education, Public Policy, Social Work, Child Development.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience in Child Development or Community Development work preferred.
  • Agreeable to WVM’s vision, mission and core value
  • Excellent knowledge / strong learning ability on Child Protection models, international development practices, research and analytical skills
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (oral & written)
  • Highly efficient in working as a team and deliver task according to deadlines
  • Ability to travel occasionally when needed
  • Strong community engagement and facilitation skills preferred
  • Knowledge on data analysis software, e.g. Epi Info, SPSS, Microsoft Access preferred
