Campaigns & Advocacy Executive

Responsibilities:

  • The Campaigns & Advocacy Executive is responsible to identify, recommend, develop and implement advocacy programs; build awareness, understanding and support of the various social and economic issues impacting communities in need
  • Plan and conduct advocacy programs (e.g. End Violence against Children) to build awareness, interest, and support; in collaboration with local interest groups and schools
  • Analyze the Youth market and create new ways to engage young people; develop, execute and evaluate advocacy strategies and programs for youth involvement
  • Prepare presentations to public and institutional groups (e.g. schools) to generate awareness and participation
  • Play a supporting role in all WVM general campaigns, road shows & events
  • Work closely with Communications Department to plan, develop, collect feedback and manage materials/print within budget and timeline

Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of working experience, and preferably at least one (1) year in similar advocacy role
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder and/or Child protection or related studies
  • Has engaged in youth related activities and campaigns
  • Detailed, able to prepare evaluation and monitoring documents
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills as well as presentation/public speaking skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English, knowledge of additional language an advantage
  • A fast learner and able to multi-task

Direct Marketing Executive

Responsibilities:

  • The Direct Marketing Executive is responsible to identify, recommend, develop and deliver direct marketing programs; manage database with a variety of media including mailers, text messaging, flyers, catalog, and newsletters
  • Plan and set strategies for Direct Marketing, in line with WV philosophy, vision and mission
  • Develop, execute and evaluate full year mailers campaign in alignment with marketing strategies; addressing current and new sponsors/donors
  • Manage budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources to ensure that operations are managed within authorized budget
  • Manage CRM database; with clear segmentation strategy and communication programs
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand sponsors/donors profiles and create new innovative engagement program idea

Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of working experience, and preferably at least one (1) year in similar direct marketing role
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder and/or marketing related studies
  • Has knowledge on marketing campaigns and social media promotions
  • Detailed, able to manage database and equipped with analytical skills to evaluate market trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English, knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantage

Digital Marketing Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with key stakeholders and management to drive marketing strategy from front to end
  • Developing and managing Digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilising a range of techniques such as search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), content marketing, social marketing (SMM) and remarketing ad
  • Overseeing the social media strategy for the organisation
  • Responsible to formulating strategies on content marketing materials to attract and increase audience engagements
  • Managing the redesign of the website
  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data
  • Managing online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing/Mass Communications/Advertising/Media/E-commerce or a related field
  • At least 3 years in relevant working experience
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Good writing skills in English Language (Knowledge of Mandarin an added advantage.)
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft, simple coding & web design
  • Knowledge of email marketing, campaign rules for Google Adwords, social media, etc. & and web analytics

Strategic Market Analyst (Senior Executive)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist to prepare regular Strategic Assessment incorporating environmental, economic and philanthropic climate and trends aligning with our global and domestic market planning cycle
  • Able to analyse data from a range of internal and external sources to produce strategic reports relevant with global and domestic direction. Assist in the development of strategies
  • Produce ad hoc thematic research and analysis appropriate to organisations needs, analyse and interpret the results drawing inferences and making recommendations as necessary
  • To produce regular strategic analysis to inform management for informed decision making, including profiling a dashboard.
  • Review processes to ensure accurate input of data and maintaining data integrity in the database for use in research and analysis for management and various departments

Qualifications:

Country Programme Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates sector learning and training for the team, as well as research and documentation for learning purposes
  • Identify and analyze areas of opportunity internally (International Programmes) and externally (other departments) that may require further follow-up from Programmes Officers
  • Assist in the development of internal business processes and guidelines to increase efficacy of the department
  • Provide support in evaluating project process and ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Perform diverse administrative duties directly related to the achievement of department and/or program goals and strategies

Malaysian Programmes

Development Facilitator

Responsibilities:

  • At least two (2) years of working experience, and preferably at least one (1) year in similar role

Qualifications:

  • Build good relationship with community and children in programme areas in Sabah (Tatalaan CDP)
  • Network and facilitate connections among local stakeholder groups and between local partners and others outside the area who can contribute their resources for the well-being of children
  • General project management which includesplanning, programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and networking with partners in Tatalaan CDP’s Community Empowerment project through participatory approaches
  • Support team members in programme implementation of other sectors (Education, Health and WASH)

Public Engagement

A role in Faith & Church Department

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Church Relations annual initiatives in line with WVM Strategic Goals
  • Engage churches to participate in the 30-Hour Famine
  • Consistently source for strategic engagement platforms with churches: introductory sessions, sermons, workshops, camps, church-partnership project meetings and networking activities
  • Mobilize church partners to participate in WVM’s funding initiatives which include Child Sponsorship, Emergency Relief, etc
  • Participate in (and facilitate where appropriate) “spiritual nurture of staff” initiatives of the organisation: weekly devotions, monthly chapel services, weekly prayer meetings, discipleship modules, Bible study facilitators’ workshops, and the annual staff retreat
  • Lead and coordinate prayer newsletters production initiative (quarterly)

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree and theological education will be an advantage
  • At least 3 years of work experience in related field or served in /networking with churches and para church groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude, good team player, and able to work autonomously as well
  • Passion for humanitarian work
  • Good command and fluency of spoken and written English
  • Other languages would be an added advantage
Donor Retention Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Donor Retention operations, prepare yearly budget and carry out supervisory role with the Donor Retention team; including evaluation of performances, identifies and provides training and development opportunities
  • Plan and develop donor retention strategies and initiatives. Identify and understand top cancellation reasons and resolve donor issues to minimize and /or avoid donor drop-outs
  • Continually seek improvement on Donor Retention processes and operational system. Provide input into the overall strategy of Donor Relations Department
  • Support and provide superior service via phone, e-mail and faxes as a receiver and caller. Follow up on donor inquiries and complaints not immediately resolved
  • Participate in donor transformation. This includes but is not limited to the leading of sponsors visit
  • Participate and help out in promotional events

Qualifications:

  • Degree holder, with at least 5 years customer service experience, out of which 2 years of a management position
  • Highly motivated and passionate about World Vision’s ministry. Strong understanding of the work of World Vision and working knowledge of the World Vision Partnership structures
  • Good command of spoken and written English, command of Mandarin is of an advantage
  • Computer literate and good working knowledge Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Positive attitude, good team player, able to work under pressure and multitask

Donor Retention Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to queries from child sponsors made via telephone, e-mail, fax or personal visits to the office
  • Liaise with child sponsors with regards to remittance of sponsorship contributions, gifts to sponsored children and correspondence with their sponsored children
  • Update sponsors and donors on their sponsored child/children’s status and the various community development projects through newsletters and organised Sponsors’ Visits
  • Build rapport with child sponsors and serve them well to retain their loyalty and interest and to encourage them to consider sponsoring additional children or encouraging others to sponsor children
  • Data entry and update of sponsors’ information into WVM’s database
  • Sorting, filing and archiving of documents

Qualifications:

  • Minimum SPM with 2 years relevant working experience
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
Sponsorship Executive

Responsibilities:

  • To manage and update My World Vision Portal to ensure media contents such as videos/ photos and information are up-to-date
  • To monitor sponsors’ activation and usage of the portal and to increase engagement with sponsors
  • To monitor the portal’s functionality and troubleshoot if required
  • To administer the backend of the portal whenever sponsors encounter problems with the portal
  • To assist My World Vision Portal Project Team Lead to coordinate and develop contents of Phase 2 of the portal by working with all related departments
  • To coordinate and upload all contents of Phase 2 into the portal
  • To coordinate for UAT testing and to ensure Phase 2 is launched on time

Qualifications:

  • At Least one (1) year of working experience, preferably website related
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in Information Technology (System & Digital Network)
  • Has knowledge on database management and system network, web design, photo and video editing is a plus
  • Detailed, able to coordinate and manage project timeline

People & Culture Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Manager in planning and developing HR strategies & initiatives aligned with overall organisational strategy (including staffing, performance management and succession planning)
  • Assist in managing recruitment and selection process
  • Generate monthly payroll including preparations and manage submissions/entries to all statutory bodies
  • Compile, update and monitor employee data/leave/contracts, all partnership schedule documents and any others (hard & soft copies)
  • Prepare and conduct initial employee orientation for newly hired employees
  • Coordinating staff gatherings, staff welfare, and training

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in full spectrum of HR functions
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in the related field
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and payroll systems is essential
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English & Malay (Spoken & Written) language is a must. Knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Knowledge of Industrial Relations Act and statutory requirement such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS and Income Tax

Project Facilitator

Responsibilities:

Programme Implementation

  • Communicate WV’s identity, mission, vision, values and programming approach in ways that are contextually appropriate and clear
  • Establish and/or strengthen relationships with local partners in the communities to promote participation and ownership
  • Coordinate and facilitate training and capacity building workshops for the communities through local partners (e.g. District Health Office, master coaches, schools, community representative [JKKK] etc)
  • Mobilise local partners, children and communities and promote activate participation in the football and nutrition activities

Programme Monitoring, Reporting and Planning

  • Collaborate with team members in project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting processes of all project activities for effective programme integration under the support and coaching of the Project Coordinator
  • Implement baseline, participatory monitoring and evaluation in the targeted communities
  • Facilitate and support local partners in conducting regular reflections with the communities to review progress, results and areas for improvement
  • Ensure proper tracking and reporting of progress and expenses in semi-annual and annual reports
  • Perform other related duties as required
