Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Description:

Reporting to the Brand & Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the digital marketing team in digital campaign planning, journey design, optimization, and channel mix to improve CPA, ROAS and channel diversification. It will involve functional knowledge and familiarity with digital marketing platforms and digital analytics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The digital marketing specialist must have strong knowledge across areas of digital marketing and be able to successfully lead/execute/convert campaigns within each specialty area of digital marketing.

  • Develop strategies to drive online traffic to the company website/social media platforms
  • Track conversion rates – what worked, what didn’t, and why?
  • Implement paid search, PPC, and SEO strategies/campaigns.
  • Raise brand awareness and online presence via digital marketing projects and campaigns
  • Ensures that campaigns are consistently optimized, and new in-market opportunities are explored/tested
  • Understand how to maximize budget and opportunity for each campaign
  • Review new technology trends and opportunities to ensure the company is a digital marketing leader within the industry, and in digital marketing space
  • Able to work with, and communicate with stakeholders the value that digital marketing campaigns can bring to an organization

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business/Marketing/Digital Marketing with at least 3-5 years related working experience
  • Know the basics of marketing; plan, create and implement a marketing strategy and funnel management
  • Knowledge in key areas of marketing (SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing, PPC and SEM)
  • Developing social presence and advocating brands effectively
  • Understand the key measurement tools available
  • Working experience in implementing tracking concepts via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager is a plus
  • Stay current in marketing trends and news e.g. Google updates and changes in algorithms
  • Knowing how to plan and having the ability to manage time
  • Having creative and good presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, planning and project management skills
  • Ability to deal with fast-moving situations and multi task

 

Advocacy Executive

Job Description:

The Advocacy Executive is responsible to identify, recommend, develop and implement advocacy programs; build awareness, understanding and support of the various social and economic issues impacting communities in need.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and set strategies together with Resource Development team to enhance participants’ understanding of the various social and economic issues impacting communities in need, in line with WV philosophy, vision and mission
  • Develop, execute and evaluate advocacy and marketing campaigns; formulate development programmes different cohorts
  • Conduct research to build understanding on child-related issues; propose and develop action plans, communication materials and other relevant resources
  • Conduct training and presentations among internal and external stakeholders, to raise awareness, understanding and support
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to plan, develop and manage materials on time and within budget

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing or Mass Communication/Public Policy
  • At least three (3) years of working experience, and preferably at least one (1) year in similar advocacy role
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
  • Detail-oriented, able to prepare reports, manage process and timelines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills as well as presentation/public speaking skills
  • Willing to travel out of town or overseas as and when required
  • Working knowledge of Mandarin an added advantage

 

Campaigns Executive

Job Description:

The Campaigns Executive is responsible to develop, execute and evaluate campaigns for youths; ensure that programs meet overall objectives, contributing to the overall target and brand image.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise and present fresh initiatives that will help build new marketing opportunities and penetrate new market segments
  • Identify, collate, upkeep and expand database of existing and potential schools / universities into higher levels of engagement and fundraising
  • Assist with the development of awareness raising, advocacy and knowledge products, including infographic and other communication materials using various mediums
  • Plan the implementation and facilitation of activities, workshops, panel discussions, special meet ups, budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources whilst ensuring that operations are managed within authorised budget
  • Presentations to public and school groups for purpose of WVM participation
  • Training of leaders for the 30-Hour Famine, EVAC or any other advocacy activities
  • Follow up with the DIY Camps by ensuring that the Camps’ needs are meet, resolved and immediate follow-up actions taken
  • Coordinate logistical details with internal and external service departments for WVM campaigns and events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing/Public Relations or related fields
  • At least two (2) years of working experience in related field
  • Experience in organising and managing events
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good working command of English and Chinese
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under tight deadlines
  • Positive attitude, detail oriented and highly motivated
  • Able to work independently in a fast-pace and changing environment

 

Supporter Engagement Executive

Job Description:

The Supporter Engagement Executive is responsible to secure, manage and build the relationship with the current and new Middle and Major donors; execute strategies to engage new potential supporters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To carry out research and explore new markets, potential donors, and CSR collaboration opportunities
  • To conduct regular engagement by way of emails, calls or visits where appropriate; share WVM campaigns where relevant
  • To report and manage day-to-day work, appointments, status updates, relevant internal and meetings
  • To prepare and deliver clear executive level presentations when needed for potential sponsors/ donors
  • To gather feedback on key deliverables from sponsors and donors to ensure continual improvement

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Admin/Business/Marketing studies
  • At least three (3) years of working experience
  • Demonstrable executive maturity and operational agility
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure is essential
  • Strong organizational and people skills
  • Strong listening, questioning and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent report-writing, analytical and project management skills

 

Supporter Engagement Manager

Job Description:

The Supporter Engagement Manager is responsible in identifying growth opportunities for World Vision Malaysia amongst Corporations and MMD’s, leading the team and providing developmental support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate and execute clear strategy for Corporate and Middle Major Donor support
  • Lead team comprising to carry out the engagement plans
  • Conduct relevant research to enhance sponsors and donors understanding
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Prepare reports and proposals, deliver concise executive level presentations when needed

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business/Marketing studies with at least 10 years related working experience
  • Demonstrated proven ability in leading teams
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure is essential
  • Strong organizational and people skills

IT Support Executive

Job Description:

IT Support Executive is responsible for performing a wide variety of office computer systems, network and web support.  In this role, the executive will diagnose and repair IT hardware & software, support website maintenance and server administration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer, support, and maintain IT-related computer software, hardware, network infrastructure, and connectivity to ensure effective and continuous operations
  • Establishment and maintenance of technical procedures, configuration standards, and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Perform remote diagnostic and fix issues related to the system, network in the office
  • Provide technical support and guidance and perform troubleshooting for laptops, printers, network cabling, operating system configuration, internet, website, servers, knowledge management system, and any other IT-related asset or systems
  • Perform server health checkup, monitor system capacities/performance analysis, and report
  • Analyze, log, archive, track, prioritize and resolve both common and complex system matters promptly and escalate when necessary
    • Disaster recovery
    • Security incidents
    • Communication problems (eg. network, domain, etc.)
    • Analyzing and debugging system, services, communication, and network-dependent processes
    • Hardening of servers and maintaining the servers to a known and consistent standard
    • Monitoring system status with respect to memory, CPU, and storage utilization

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
  • Preferably Non-Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent
  • Basic web programming knowledge (PHP and SQL database) is preferred
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Good IT problem-solving skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin (advantage)
Public Engagement Department

Senior Executive, Corporate Media

Job Description:

The Corporate Media Senior Executive is responsible to identify, recommend, cultivate and maintain corporate media contacts, including preparing articles, press kits, press releases, and other content initiatives as well as to proactively build World Vision Malaysia’s media presence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport and understanding with media contacts
  • Pitch media interviews and stories to raise WVM brand awareness
  • Coordinate and respond to all media enquiries
  • Prepare and update media information kits, backgrounders, speeches, and briefing documents
  • Assist with emergency relief & rehabilitation media relations in Malaysia
  • Implement Corporate media strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or professional qualification in Mass Communication or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in related field
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Basic understanding of Chinese an added advantage
