Faith for the Future 2.0 explored the future of Christianity for the emerging digital generation.

In 2019, Barna Group and World Vision partnered to dramatically widen – and focus – the lens with which we view young adults around the world. We interviewed more than 15,000 adults age 18 to 35 in 25 countries and nine languages, asking them about their goals, fears, relationships, routines and beliefs. The aim of these interviews was to generate findings that would help the global Church to better understand 18 to 35 year olds around the world, partnering with them in discipleship and activating them in leadership.

Faith for the Future 2020

Alongside Alpha Malaysia, we hosted the Faith for the Future Forum in early 2020 to release and unpack this largest-ever global study of Millennials and their attitudes toward Christianity, sharing its findings and contextualising it to Malaysia. We hope that the local Church gained a deeper understanding of Millennials and found better ways of engaging and discipling young adults to become resilient Christian leaders in today’s volatile, post-modern culture.

Faith for the Future 2.0 - Into the Digital Era

In March 2021, we once again jointly hosted a virtual forum to further unravel the study of Millennials and their perspective towards faith, especially in this digital era. We sought to aid church leaders in exploring the integration of faith with an emotionally connected church, which would help Millennials stay resilient to the challenges they face. As we heard from our speakers and panels, we envision the local church to be empowered, gaining a stronger fervour in their mission to disciple this generation in impacting our world.
