Run for the Rights of Children!

Every child has the right to grow and thrive in a safe environment, free from violence and harm. Under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), children have 42 rights. These rights are based on what a child needs to survive, grow, participate and develop their full potential. They apply equally to every child, regardless of ethnicity, gender or religion. And yet, children around the world still face violence at home, in school and online each day. Learn more here.

Are you ready to go the distance for vulnerable children?

#RunForChildren is a 42 minutes virtual run where participants run for the child on their runner’s bib.

What is a Virtual Run?

A virtual run is a run that you can complete at your own pace and time, at your preferred location! You can run or walk indoors (e.g. on a treadmill, at home) or outdoors, anytime between 3 and 19 July 2020.

Why do I Have to Run for 42 Minutes?

When you run for 42 minutes, you are advocating for the 42 rights of the child on your runner’s bib and ensure that their rights are protected!
