By August 10, massive landslides in Gansu Province, left 702 killed, 42 injured and nearly 1,042 missing.
World Vision assessment team has brought 1,000 boxes of bottled water and child friendly kits to the affected area today (11 August). With 1,500 pieces of quilts and another 300 child friendly kits on the way to the affected area.

Unprecedented monsoon rains have triggered devastating flash floods across Pakistan.
World Vision teams are assessing and planning for a response in areas where more than 1,000 have died and over 1 million have been displaced. The response will target families in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where thousands are living along roadsides, rooftops, and seeking refuge on higher ground.
