    This role is responsible is responsible for developing and producing engaging, clear and interesting copywriting for a variety of channels; to brainstorm ideas, create concepts and develop messaging according to different communication goals.

    The Digital Specialist plays a critical role in strengthening World Vision Malaysia’s online presence, donor engagement, and digital performance.

     

    This position supports the Digital Marketing Manager in managing digital platforms, campaigns, and analytics, ensuring that all digital touchpoints are optimized to deliver meaningful engagement, data accuracy, and measurable fundraising results.

     

    The role combines creative and technical skills to maintain websites, monitor online campaigns, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth digital operations.

     

    The final designation (Executive / Senior Executive) will depend on the candidate’s experience, leadership capability, and performance during the selection process.

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    1. Website & Digital Platform Management
    • Maintain and update content on WVM’s digital platforms such as website, campaign landing pages, and donation portals.
    • Coordinate with the IT & Business Analyst and external vendors to ensure systems are functioning securely and efficiently.
    • Support website optimization for user experience, mobile responsiveness, SEO, and accessibility.
    • Track and troubleshoot web or integration issues, escalating technical matters appropriately.

     

    1. Digital Campaign Execution
    • Support the implementation of digital campaigns (search, display, social, and email).
    • Manage ad trafficking, UTM tracking, tagging, and pixel setup for performance reporting.
    • Collaborate with Communications and Campaign teams to publish creative content and track engagement performance.
    • Coordinate digital assets for events, fundraising appeals, and storytelling initiatives.

     

    1. Analytics & Reporting
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Google Tag Manager.
    • Prepare dashboards and insights on campaign outcomes, web traffic, and conversion trends.
    • Provide recommendations for optimizing content and improving online conversions.
    • Ensure data consistency and integrity across all digital platforms.

     

    1. System & Vendor Coordination
    • Work with vendors, agencies, and internal IT to ensure smooth integration between CRM, payment gateways, and marketing automation systems.
    • Conduct periodic testing of donation forms, system updates, and new feature rollouts.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation for digital operations.

     

    1. Collaboration & Innovation
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Campaigns, Communications, Programmes and IT teams to deliver integrated online experiences.
    • Stay updated with emerging digital trends, tools, and best practices for nonprofits.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in digital marketing operations, analytics, or web management.
    • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, SEO/SEM tools, and Meta Ads Manager.
    • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and basic HTML/CSS is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
    • Passion for leveraging digital tools to support social good and humanitarian causes.

    The IT & Business Analyst provides analytical and technical support to enhance organizational efficiency through system improvement, process automation, and data integration.

     

    This role serves as the bridge between business needs and technology solutions, supporting departments such as Marketing, Finance, and People & Culture in optimizing workflows and digital systems. The position contributes to the design, testing, and maintenance of business systems that enable better decision-making and operational performance.

     

    The final designation (Executive, Senior Executive, or Assistant Manager) will depend on the candidate’s experience, technical expertise, and leadership readiness.

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    1. Systems Management & Support
    • Manage, maintain, and support key business systems (CRM, HRIS, Finance tools, and donor management platforms).
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal teams.
    • Support integration between internal systems and digital platforms (e.g., website donation portals, marketing tools).
    • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with IT and organizational policies.

     

    1. Business Process Analysis
    • Collaborate with department leads to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for system improvements.
    • Map workflows and recommend digital or process enhancements for greater efficiency.
    • Document business processes, user requirements, and change requests in a structured and clear manner.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
    • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in IT, business analysis, or system administration.
    • Strong knowledge of database management, CRM systems, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
    • Experience with process documentation, project coordination, and stakeholder communication.
    • Technical proficiency with APIs, data flows, and integrations is an advantage.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
