The Matthew 25 Challenge is a multi-generational disciple-making experience for your congregation. For one week, families and individuals in your church step out of their comfort zones by sacrificing one small thing every day, bringing to life Jesus’ call in Matthew 25.
This Challenge will awaken your church to the needs of the hungry, thirsty, sick, imprisoned, and stranger around the world, moving people to action as a community. It will open the eyes and transform the hearts of your congregation and our brothers and sisters around the world.
Your congregation will receive text messages for one week, including a daily sacrificial challenge, impactful stories of children around the world, prayer points for families and engaging activities. These family-friendly challenges are a great way to teach young children about God’s love for our brothers and sisters around the world, who Jesus calls us to care for. Your eyes will be opened to the realities of many people living in poverty and God will work in transformative ways through the Challenge.
At the end of the week, come together to celebrate God’s love for the least of these, and call on your congregation to continue living out Jesus’ call in Matthew 25 by reaching out to vulnerable children.
