Somewhere out there, a child is waiting to hear from yours.

Every parent hopes to raise a child who sees the world beyond themselves — who leads with kindness, thinks with empathy, and understands that their voice has the power to reach someone they've never met.

This is that moment.

Through a simple letter exchange and sharing their voice, your child connects with a child from a vulnerable community, and discovers what it means to truly care for someone outside their own world.

Registration closes 13 July.

How It Works

Step 1 Register

Step 1: Register

Sign up your child for free and take the first step in a journey that goes far beyond a piece of paper. Once registered, your child will receive an info booklet to guide them — open to all children aged 8–18 in Malaysia.

Step 2 Write & Speak Up

Step 2: Write & Speak Up

Your child will be introduced to the life of another child, gaining a glimpse into their world. They will then write a letter that will be translated and hand-delivered, carrying their words of encouragement directly to the child.

They can also enter the Public Speaking Competition for a chance to win a fully sponsored trip to a vulnerable community in Asia.

Step 3 Connect

Step 3: Connect

Your child receives a reply — a letter written by the child they wrote to, where two different worlds meet on the same page. That's where the relationship begins, and for some families, it grows into something even more meaningful through child sponsorship.

As part of this campaign, the Public Speaking Competition invites your child to reflect on their letter-writing journey and turn their thoughts and experiences into a message that can inspire others.

How to enter: During registration, opt into the Public Speaking Competition. Submit a 2-minute audition video by 30 June, responding to your age group's topic.

This is Just the Beginning

Writing to a child opens a door. Sponsoring one keeps it open.

Over 8,000 children in our programme are still waiting for a sponsor — a consistent presence who helps provide access to education, healthcare, and clean water. Your sponsored child can write to you too.

If this campaign has moved your family to do more, this is the next step.
