Help children and families in Lebanon recover from conflict and crises!
Since October 2023, Lebanon has endured one of its darkest chapters: a severe escalation in violence, marked by large-scale airstrikes, shelling, and destruction of civilian infrastructure. Thousands were killed, including children.
Today, Lebanon remains deeply fragile. Despite the November 2024 cessation of hostilities, near-daily strikes continue to devastate the country, exposing thousands of children and their families to further trauma and displacement.
As of 29 October 2025, over 1.4 million children face disrupted education, deteriorating mental health, and heightened protection risks. More than 82,000 people remain displaced, unable to return home due to widespread damage and access restrictions. Many schools remain damaged or converted into shelters, and food insecurity is worsening — 30% of children under 18 only eat one meal or less.
With the support of our donors, World Vision has reached 589,468 people, including 217,898 children, with emergency aid and long-term recovery programmes. Here’s what we’ve achieved together:
Through it all, the people of Lebanon keep going. And they need our help to recover and rebuild.
